What we look for

Solves a real school workflow (not a generic ChatGPT wrapper).

Live, accessible product with a free tier or open trial — no demo-call gating.

Audience is clear: K-12 or higher-ed teachers, students, parents, or instructional staff.
- 04
Privacy-aware: FERPA, SOC 2, or state-law compliance is a strong plus.
What we won't list
- Tools that exist mainly to scrape student work or sell student data.
- Generic prompt packs and "AI lesson plan" PDF downloads.
- Closed beta with no way for a teacher, student, or parent to actually try it.
What happens next

If it fits, we'll request a 30-minute walk-through or take it for a spin ourselves.

Tools that pass review are written up and added — usually in 2 to 3 weeks.
